Imran
khan (Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi) is Pakistan political leader and former
cricketer, who is the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf and also a member of
National Assembly.
Imran
was born to a Pashtun family in Lahore October, 5, 1952.The only son of
Ikramullah Khan Naizi, a Civil Engineer and his wife Shaukat khanum. Living in
Mianwali in northwestern Punjab. Imran khan belongs to Naizi tribe.
Imran
khan mother was from Burki tribe who had produced a lot of great cricketers which
includes Javed Burki and Majid khan. Both were the cousins of Imran khan.

He
was educated at Aitchison College in Lahore and Royal Grammar School Worcester
in England, where he learned about cricket.
In 1972 he enrolled in Keble college, Oxford where he studied Philosophy, politics and Economics, Graduating in 1975.

Cricket career
Imran
khan started frist-class cricket at the age of 16 in Lahore. Imran khan was
also part of University of Oxford’s blues Cricket team during the 1973-75

Worcestershire, where he played county cricket from 1971 to 1976.

1983 to 1988, he played for Sussex
Debut in Pakistan cricket
Imran
khan made his test debut for Pakistan against England in 1971.
Imran
khan made his ODI debut for Pakistan again vs England in 1974. After Completing
his graduation Imran khan secured permanent place in Pakistan team 1976.
During
his age of cricket, he accomplishes many things but what he will be remember of
WINNING 1992 WORLD CUP for Pakistan. From a really average team.
Imran
khan was all-rounder, A right handed batsman and Medium-fast bowler.
At the height of his career,
in 1982, the thirty-year-old Khan took over the captaincy of the Pakistan
cricket team from Javed miandad As a
captain, Khan played 48 Test matches, out of which 14 were won by Pakistan, 8
lost and the rest of 26 were drawn.
Marriage life
On
16 May 1995, Khan married Jemima Goldsmith, and Jemima was converted to Islam. Their
marriage went on for 9 years and On 22 June 2004, it was announced that the
couple had divorced because for jemima it was difficult to adapt life in
Pakistan.
In
January 2015 Imran khan married to journalist Reham Khan in a private nikah
ceremony at his resisdence in Islamabad .
Almost
a year or less then 12 months, Reham Khan and Imran Khan announced their divorce.
